Active ca. 1890-1910, Francisco Candela was a Spanish watercolorist of scenes in and around Seville. One oil painting is known. In 1894, he won the competition to design the first poster authorized by the Feria Sevilla, the annual Spring fair in Seville, which traces back to 1847. The prize was 500 pesetas. He won the competition again in 1895.
